The Midwest Conference Women’s Missionary Society (WMS) and the Young People and Children’s Division (YPD) invite you to our “Legacy and Recognition Gala.” This is our biggest WMS/YPD fundraiser of the year, and in the words of the YPD 2025 theme, “This Is How We Do It!” The Legacy Program will honor the last 12 WMS Members who became Life Members up to the year 2024. The YPD program will recognize one youth from each of our local Midwest Conference churches.

This is a ticketed event Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at the Hilton Garden Inn, Independence, Missouri. The ticket donation is $65.00. The ticket will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, a souvenir journal (colored), and other wonderful surprises. There will be a silent auction and a mighty good time. The attire is semi-formal.

The journal will include advertisements (ads), tributes to the Midwest Conference WMS Life Members, and our locally chosen youth recognitions. We are asking that each church please submit ONE young person between the ages 6 to 26 that you would like to recognize at this event. We need the young person’s name, age, church, a picture, and a brief paragraph that includes a short bio and why this youth was chosen to be honored.

The cost for the souvenir book ads and tributes will be:

o   Full-page ads are $75.00.

o   Half-page ads are $50.00.

o   ¼ Page ads are $25.00

o   Business Cards are $10.00.

o   Patrons Lists $ per name                   

You can reserve a table for eight at $520. We are asking each church to purchase at least two tickets to support this event. Your church, family, and friends are ALL welcome to attend our event and can provide their ads and or tributes for the souvenir journal. We look forward to your attendance and participation.
